Anfahrt Rügen Anfahrt Baabe Anfahrt Fewo

By car:

You arrive at Stralsund either via the B105 from Rostock, or via the A20 (exit Stralsund No.24, then follow signs to "Stralsund, Insel Rügen", B96N)

In Stralsund follow signs to the island of Rügen (Insel Rügen, B96) (possible traffic jam at Rügendamm: the bridge "Ziegelgrabenbrücke" opens for about 20 min at: 02:30, 05:20, 09:20, 17:50, 21:30 every day)

Afterwards, you have 2 possibilities to reach Baabe:

Another option to the Rügendamm is to take the ferry between Stahlbrode and Glewitz. The ferry has a capacity of 44 cars and leaves every 20 min from 06:00 to 21:40, every day from March 27th to November 3rd. Once on the island, follow again the directions to Garz, Putbus, and then Baabe.

Please be aware of speed restrictions! There is a speed trap (radar) in the town "Lancken-Granitz", shortly before Sellin.

For navigation devices, enter the town "Baabe", the street "Strandstrasse 41 ", bend before it left into the small road "Brautsteg". The entry to the underground parking is on the right side.

By train:

You can access travel information from the "Deutsche Bahn" here..

For extended trips by train we recommend a night train or a car-and-bed train.

By getting an IC or IR train out of Köln, Berlin or Hamburg, you get to Stralsund or Bergen either directly or with a connection. From there on you get to the destination Binz-Grossbahnhof.

Once there you can catch a bus in direction to Göhren/Klein Zicker towards Baabe. Cabs are also available: Funktaxi (38303/87062) or Mönchguttaxi (038303/85045).

By plane:

The airport Güttin is about 30 km away from Baabe. It is large enough to accommodate airlines like AIR TEMPELHOF, flying directly from Berlin, and WESTAVIA, flying from Mönchengladbach (vicinity of Köln/Düsseldorf). The next major Airport is Rostock-Laage, about 140 km away.

By Boat:

Daily ferries out of the harbor in Sassnitz toward Skandinavia and the Baltic countries.
